A physicochemical water treatment system combining a pretreatment UF system and a five-stage reverse osmosis (RO) process to treat high-concentration, refractory wastewater generated from the ammonium sulfate fertilizer manufacturing process.
The main RO treatment process was optimally designed and constructed with a five-stage block circulation configuration to control high-concentration pollutants and achieve a high water recovery rate of up to 95%. Through this process, COD and T-N were removed by more than 97.7%, enabling stable compliance with stringent effluent discharge standards.
